I think code would allow me to pull #6 wire and run the 50 amp breaker, but it may not be worth the effort of pulling the wires for the small increase. I could increase the size of the breaker on the garage sub-panel and pull new wires, but I think I'll be limited to 50 amps because, unfortunately, the garage is detached and there is only 3/4 inch pvc conduit under the slab in the backyard (guy before me's bright idea). Just the dishwasher and other normal household appliances and two bathrooms in a small house. I have a 40 amp air conditioning circuit, but the rest are just 15 amp lighting and 20 amp outlet circuits. That being said, I don't think I'm drawing anywhere near 200 amps even at the peak. I'll check the lighting ballasts and the freezer specs to see what the actual draw will be.Īs for my main panel, it is 200 amps and completely full. Flipping the two outlet circuits off during a brew day wouldn't be the end of the world. You should be able to run the lights and the brew panel no problem though.ĭo you have room on your main panel to expand your subpanel? ![]() Your beer is not going to dramatically warm up or anything more than maybe a couple degrees. Worst case, if you're looking a bit high, you unplug one or both of the keezers (or flip that breaker) while you're brewing. That's the number i would shoot for not exceeding just to be safe. In the case of a 40 amp circuit, that would be somewhere in the 32-34 amp range. This is because your wires are going to heat up over time during constant use, and if you push it, you can melt wires especially when you're operating around the capacity of the breaker.Īn important thing you will want to consider is that for any extended run time of electronics (say over an hour, so brew day would certainly qualify), you want to underrate your circuit breaker to around 80-85%. Unfortunately for extended use scenarios (>1hr), it isn't really as simple as just subtracting appliance amperage draw from the breaker rating. Without operating info on the keezers and lights I couldn't say for sure, but you might be getting close. I would basically assume that the fluro lights aren't pulling much amperage at all but you could check the ballast on them to confirm that. Part of that's going to depend on how many amps your keezers are pulling. Still, a private US environmental group has found that drinking water in many American cities contains hexavalent chromium, The Washington Post reported last month. "EPA's latest data show that no public water systems are in violation of the standard," the agency said in a statement. It adopted a rule of a maximum 0.1 milligrams per liter (100 parts per billion), and urged managers of water systems with their source in ground water be tested two times a year, versus four times a year for systems with surface water sources. Top tips for perfect chicken rollups aka involtini Heat the sauce over medium-high for a few minutes until it reduces then turn off the heat and add 1-2 tablespoons of cold butter and whisk it into the sauce. If you want the sauce a bit thicker simply move the chicken to a plate and tent with foil. Once finished cooking remove the pan from the oven and add 2 tablespoons of minced parsley. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the internal temp of the chicken reaches 160f.You don’t have to use all the breadcrumbs here. Also, spoon a bit of sauce onto the chicken then sprinkle the remaining breadcrumbs on top of each piece of chicken involtini. Return the chicken rolls to the pan and add 2 tablespoons of cubed butter.Season with salt and pepper if necessary – it probably won’t be – then add 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice. Once the sauce is adequately reduced remove the pan from the heat and taste test. While reducing, use a wooden spoon to dislodge the flavorful brown bits from the pan. Turn the heat to high and reduce the liquid by half (about 2-3 minutes). Cook the garlic until golden (about 2 minutes) then add a 1/2 cup of dry white wine and a 1/2 cup of low sodium chicken stock. If the pan is very dry add a couple more tablespoons of olive oil. Turn the heat down to medium-low and add 4 cloves of sliced garlic.Place all the seared chicken onto a plate and set aside. Work in batches, if required, to not crowd the pan. Once the pan is hot add a couple of tablespoons of olive oil and sear the chicken for 2-3 minutes per side or until golden brown. Heat a large pan (preferably stainless steel) to medium heat and wait 3 minutes.Note: Don’t worry – most of the stuffing will stay inside the chicken while searing after securing with the toothpicks. Next place the chicken involtini into flour and dredge, shaking off the excess. Roll the chicken then secure with a toothpick.Season both sides with salt and pepper then place 2-3 tablespoons of the spinach mixture onto the cutlets. ![]() Spread out 8-10 thin chicken cutlets (use either storebought thin sliced cutlets or pound them out to a 1/4-inch thickness) and pat them dry.In a large bowl, mix together the drained spinach, mushrooms, 1 cup shredded Fontina cheese, and a 1/4 cup of breadcrumbs.Season the mushrooms with salt and pepper and set them aside. Heat the same pan to medium and saute the mushrooms in olive oil until they release their water (about 5 minutes).Once the spinach is cool enough to handle, drain by pressing through a fine-mesh strainer. Cook spinach until wilted and season with salt and pepper. Avakian’s speech, the SEC examination and enforcement staff has expressed concerns about BDSPs, including the following: In this environment, in which advisory conflicts are under intense regulatory scrutiny, what the SEC is now reacting to is the potential for undisclosed conflicts related to the compensation received by the adviser or its affiliates in connection with bank sweep accounts. While press reports and related staff statements have referred to “advisory account” cash sweep programs, a cash sweep program is offered via broker-dealer accounts which underlie an advisory program. It is also noteworthy that investments through a cash sweep program are specifically addressed and permitted by the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and in particular, the net capital rule.īank sweep accounts have been associated with advisory programs for many years. In connection with their advisory programs, dual registrants often make available programs for cash in an account to automatically be swept into an interest-bearing Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC)-insured deposit account or a money market fund. 2īank Sweep Accounts as Part of Advisory Programs. This is a clear conflict and, without full and fair disclosure, investors cannot make an informed investment decision to agree to the adviser’s cash sweep vehicle selection. These types of cash sweep arrangements create an obvious incentive for an adviser to recommend products where revenue sharing will result in larger payments to the adviser and lesser returns for the adviser’s client. In fact, in some cases, these arrangements may actually lower the interest paid to the client. ![]() In some cases, the revenue received by the adviser or the adviser’s affiliate far exceeds the interest earned by the client on its cash. ![]() The clearing broker may, in turn, agree to share a portion of the revenue it received with the investor’s dually registered investment adviser or with the adviser’s affiliated broker-dealer. In some cases, the bank, often an affiliate of the clearing broker, agrees to share a portion of the revenue the bank earns on the investor’s deposits with the clearing broker. The Commission has brought enforcement actions in the past where advisers have failed to make appropriate disclosure.Īs another example, some clearing brokers offer bank deposit sweep programs where an investor’s uninvested cash is swept into an interest-bearing bank account. Advisers recommending or choosing between different money market funds must make full and fair disclosure of these types of conflicts to their clients. For example, some money market mutual funds carry 12b-1 fees or make revenue-sharing payments that may be shared with a dually registered adviser or an adviser’s affiliated broker-dealer, while other money market funds do not carry those fees. A dually registered adviser or an adviser with an affiliated broker-dealer may have a financial interest, a conflict, in recommending one cash investment over another. Cash in advisory accounts is often automatically swept into a money market mutual fund or a bank deposit sweep program. We are also looking at cash sweep arrangements.
